Abstract

Technology integration is a crucial issue in education, and there are several factors that impact technology integration by teachers. The purpose of this study was to examine teachers’ use of Information and Communication Technology ( ICT) for teaching and their students’ use of ICT in classroom activities based on demographic and support, beliefs, and use characteristics. While demographic characteristics age and gender did not significantly predict ICT integration, professional development, collaboration, use of utility software, ICT self-efficacy negative and positive views on using ICT in teaching and learning significantly predict teacher’s ICT use in teaching and their students’ use of ICT in classroom activities.
