Despite decades of research on arts integration, very few studies have specifically investigated the pedagogies of Black women artist-educators. Still, Black women scholars have made significant inroads to understanding how they as pedagogues along with the utilization of Black feminist theories, transform student experience and outcomes. To continue seeking social justice in education, particularly for disenfranchised and underserved students with so much capability, hope, and possibility, disruptive, radical pedagogical approaches are needed.
