Decision-makers not listening to First Nations’ peoples are taking risks. Continuing dire colonisation’s cultural dominance fails to prepare children adequately for accelerating climate changes. In 2022, one Aboriginal and two non-indigenous Australian families began to blog, mapping children’s anticolonial informal education at home. Daily communication on decolonising ‘Country’ examined daily life. Families underwent a postqualitative, emergent blog-based analysis engaging deep-listening methodology (Ngan’gikurunggurr’s ‘dadirri’) and ‘Yama-bul ngarnga-dha’ (Boonwurrung). An imaginative approach to blogging educational theory, practice and research, found foregrounding children in postcolonial conversations is valuable as a child-led responsive process of future imagining.
