Research has shown that refugee children, asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors’ access to quality education is jeopardized for different reasons. For these children, education should be a refuge where opportunities, sense of belonging and well-being is guaranteed to secure the further integration of everybody. This paper presents the results of the Dialogic co-creation and educational needs assessment of refugee and migrant children carried out in six Primary Spanish schools under the framework of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research project REFUGE-ED. Findings reveal main challenges and needs faced by students, end-users and families; also needs faced at the center/organization level and at the stakeholders/surrounding community/policy makers’ level
