Abstract

The Teaching Beyond September 11th Curriculum Project is a multimodal curriculum for high school and college educators and students about the ongoing global impact of 9/11. Focusing on the years 2001-2020 during which anti-Muslim racism, Islamophobia, and xenophobia have been at an all-time high, the curriculum situates anti-Muslim rhetoric and policy within a larger historical narrative through critical inquiry and a social justice lens.
