Abstract

This paper uses memory-work and online curated photo albums to self-study. It discusses the importance of participatory visual methodologies — curating online albums— and self-study work by underlying its role in investigating social phenomena/ challenges, learning, and educating refugees. Finally, this study aims to bring attention to educators, researchers, and policy makers that this type of work empowers vulnerable population and gives them space to share their knowledge and to build on previous existing knowledge which encourages consequential education research works towards pursuing the truth.
