Abstract

COVID 19 outbreak has forced educators all around the world to transition to remote teaching which caught most of the instructors and students off guard. Instructors had to quickly adapt and find solutions to effectively teach their students in this unprecedented condition while students had to maintain their motivation and engagement in the learning process. Following a case study approach, the objective of this study was to investigate how COVID 19 pandemic disruptions impacted veterinary medical students’ academic and professional performance. The results indicated that in many cases, students whose education was somehow impacted by the pandemic, their ratings of the curriculum and how well they felt prepared were as high as their counterparts in other years.
