Abstract

This paper presents survey and implementation findings from an expanded, trauma-informed PBIS implementation model. The model was implemented in a set of schools in a large, urban school district in the United States over the course of two school years from 2019-2021, and included a series of supports to strengthen overall PBIS implementation and to integrate the PBIS framework with a trauma-informed approach. The paper uses the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) to organize and frame findings related to teachers reported self-efficacy as well as identified barriers and facilitators to implementation. Descriptors: Evaluation, Implementation, Classroom Management
