In this qualitative study, I provide a basic interpretive analysis of the experiences of four gifted education teachers as they taught gifted classes during the 2020-2021 school year. The main research question focuses on; How did these four gifted program educators experience teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic? The three sub-facets explored are: 1) What challenges did you experience teaching during COVID-19? 2) What went well teaching during this time? 3) What do you feel has changed because of COVID? The data was coded and analyzed using a social-constructivist framework (Burr, 2015). Though each teacher experienced the pandemic in different ways this paper discusses some of the similar challenges, successes, and lessons learned from the disruption of COVID.
