The Relationship Between Creativity and Leadership in Gifted Students

Abstract

Our education and society are changing unexpectedly by the global pandemic, which reveals many aspects of society that need hope, care, a well-balanced personality, and true leadership. This study focuses on understanding the characteristics and relationship of creative personality and leadership between students identified as gifted and non-gifted. First, differences in creative personality and leadership characteristics such as self-management, organizational management, and morality were found between students identified as gifted and non-gifted. In addition, a high correlation between creative personality and leadership characteristics was shown. Specifically, the perseverance of a creative personality and the self-management ability of leadership were related significantly. Finally, there was no moderating effect of giftedness on the relationship between creative personality and leadership characteristics.
