Abstract

This scholarly paper introduces the locus of action conceptual framework. Integrating perspectives from organizational culture, organizational learning, intersectionality, community cultural wealth, and sense of belonging, this framework offers a way to consider how an asset-based understanding of diverse students’ strengths and experiences can inform institutional commitments to equitable student success.
