This paper explores five female college students’ perceptions of how trauma-informed mentorship contributed to posttraumatic growth (PTF) after they lost someone to suicide. Drawing on narrative and ethnographic data it finds that healing centered mentors utilize creative community interventions, vulnerability, and curricula as a healer to move women grieving the loss of loved ones by suicide to posttraumatic growth (PTG). I offer suggestions for future research that seeks to better understand the roles that healing centered mentorship may play in moving mentees toward PTG.
