Through a decolonial and affective lens, and examining Fanon’s theory of sociogeny, this paper aims to consider the process of seeking trust despite the living impacts of coloniality/modernity.
Through an autoethnographical approach, examination of work by Fanon, Wynter, and Maldonado-Torres, and speaking to Fanon’s existence in triple, trust and vulnerability is examined in abundance as a counter to the anxiety of coloniality.
