An increasing number of companies are tending to develop hybrid working models, but these practices are still largely unexplored due to their pioneering nature. By conducting a systematic review, this paper aims to investigate both purely virtual and hybrid collaboration in terms of quality criteria and thus fill this gap. The literature was gathered in May-July 2022 and initially reduced to peer-reviewed journals and eBooks. After synthesizing the research findings, a quality model on the basis of the input-process-output (IPO) model was developed that can be used to assess the performance of virtual or hybrid work arrangements.
