Sun, April 16, 9:50 to 11:20am CDT (9:50 to 11:20am CDT), Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, Floor: B2 Level, Imperial Ballroom

Abstract

This study examines how to strategically develop relationships and enhance network collaborations to mobilize organizational anti-racist agendas, and sustain and retain current/ future Teachers of Color and critical white educators in a Midwestern city. This study will develop a social network map of current organizations that support educational justice, as well as create events to support the development of relationships between organizations to collaborate with local educators. Through interviews, social network surveys, and artifacts, we will understand the current state, desires, and potential guidance for future efforts, which will inform future community-based network development.
