The present research studies how the implementation of dialogic encounters in homes, a transfer of the Dialogic Model of Conflict Prevention (MDPRC), affects domestic coexistence during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. For this, the study analyzed the dialogic encounters developed in 160 families of high school students of the rural educational community of the “El Mortiño” school (Colombia). This research analyzed school administrative data with sociodemographic information, minutes of the dialogic encounters, and surveys and interviews with family members. The results indicate that most families have transformed their behavior based on the practice of deliberative democracy, procedural ethics, and the Principles of Dialogic Learning, for the creation and fulfillment of agreements.
