How family SES affects the probability of student bullying victimization has not been fully studied. We used data from four Chinese Provinces (cities) in PISA2018 to build a SEM model of family SES affecting student bullying victimization and successfully found a chain mediating effect of teacher support and school affiliation, i.e., family SES can positively affect teacher support, teacher support can positively affect school belonging, and school affiliation can reduce student bullying victimization. Besides, teacher support also directly reduced student bullying victimization. Parental support had no significant effect on bullying victimization, suggesting that more attention should be paid to the effect of teachers on students in addressing school bullying.
