Exploring the Self in the Dialogic "I" in Early Childhood Education

Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is to foreground an Answerable ‘I’ model, developed from my doctoral research in an effort to support teachers’ understanding and awareness of the self, the self’s teaching practice and the implications of the self’s actions when faced with dilemmas that have their origins in practice.
