Abstract

In this self-study, I draw from my experiences as an intentional, playful and caring teacher educator and present and examine what I call “Critical Play/Playful Andragogy” as a method/approach for future teachers to begin to learn how to teach diverse learners.
At the heart of CPPA is a playful mindset where both the teacher educator and pre-service teachers engage in different opportunities of playing with diverse perspectives, spontaneity, discovery, ideas, concepts, theories, strategies, ways of thinking, and being open to new challenges.
