Abstract

This paper selects data of 37 "Belt and Road" sample countries and 43 other countries for an empirical analysis to test whether international students in China have a driving effect on China's OFDI. The study found:1)The number of international students in China have driving effect on China's OFDI. 2)The driving effect of international students on China’s OFDI is more obvious in non-Belt and Road countries. 3)Cultural identity and human capital accumulation have a promoting effect on OFDI, and it is more significant in the “Belt and Road” countries. Finally,this paper discusses the driving effect of the education of international students in China in the "Belt and Road" countries and non-"Belt and Road" countries.
