Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is to provide varied perspectives of the mentoring process in PETE from different career stages. Mentors will talk about philosophy/roles needed in the mentoring process at different career stages and mentees will discuss how mentoring helped them and what would help them even more, specifically: (a) mentor perspectives; (b) reflections on mentee experiences and how they impact their roles as faculty; (c) current doctoral students’ thoughts on mentoring experiences and (d) a group discussion of cross program mentoring
