Abstract

We publish theoretically rich, methodologically rigorous peer reviewed research articles, analytical essays, and artistic creations. To be on point, these submissions must advance and/or complicate existing conceptualizations and understandings of equity, excellence, and justice across the field of education. We are particularly interested in manuscripts applying critical frameworks that engage in the intersectional examination of systemic oppression along with those that explore ideas of joy, futurity, freedom-dreaming, and radical imagination. We want to see work that affectively moves and intellectually inspires as much as it informs. To reach a broad and diverse audience, we welcome new heat that does it for the culture, invokes marginalized epistemologies, centers historically marginalized ways of knowing, and responds to our contemporary digitally-mediated social reality.
