Abstract

Social Studies Research and Practice is a peer-reviewed, electronic journal providing a venue for P–16 research and practice manuscripts addressing education and citizenship-related issues in the social sciences and humanities, such as history, geography and economics.

Social Studies Research and Practice welcomes the submission of quality research and practice articles, literature reviews and essays. Submissions from all social science and humanities disciplines (P-16), as well as from interdisciplinary perspectives, are welcome. Submissions are rigorously refereed using a double-blind peer review process with reviewers from relevant disciplines.

The journal aims to address education (P-16) in the social sciences and humanities by:
Providing forums for the online dissemination of research
Disseminating ideas that enhance the practical aspects
Furthering knowledge and understanding of powerful and innovative research and practice
Fostering debate about the implementation of research into education.
