Abstract

Latinx Mujeres are continuously underrepresented in doctoral education and as faculty at predominately white institutions. This work in progress is an systematic literature review that highlights key studies, significant events and laws related to Latinx mujeres in their pursuit of post-secondary education and as faculty members from 2000- 2022. I synthesized 22 years of literature to attempt to capture a holistic picture of their lived experiences while pointing toward a way of liberation in the form of recommendations for future research.
