This qualitative research study examines how radical healing justice practices can be implemented in traditional 9-12 school settings to assist in the healing of Black girls. Intersectional theory and healing justice will be the conceptual frameworks for this study. The instrument for this study is a single-instrument case study in which the daily practices of a nonprofit organization in Detroit will be studied through participatory observation in addition to interviews and focus groups. Participatory observation will allow for an inside perspective of the inner workings of the organization, as well as help build community between the participants and the researcher.
