One of the biggest challenges of educators serving in remote areas is the scarcity of resources particularly pertaining to professional development and networking. In this study, we discuss how the unique combination of a specific medical knowledge mobilization framework and teleconferencing were adapted to bridge these barriers for Educators in Nigeria. Using Social Learning Theory to explicate data from a pilot with Nigerian educators, this study revealed that educators were able to achieve three main outcomes: An increase in self-efficacy and competence, an increase in their professional network, and a benefit to the career advancement demonstrated by upward social mobility.
