We invite the reader, culturally diverse doctoral students, to take a deeper dive into forming dissertation cultural relevant writing groups. The intentional election of group membership of students grounded in their identity and understanding of self serves as a support system through the rigorous dissertation process that many under representative groups in higher education have encountered. This safe space offers students of culturally diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful and critical conversations during culturally relevant writing group sessions. Additionally, it allows for critical feedback on each other's work in progress; plus provides structured time to write and work on their dissertation study.
