Using the Multidimensional Framework for HSI Servigness, this study analyzes the ways in which, if at all, the social media footprint of emerging, selective HSIs reflect a commitment to serve the Latinx students. Other studies have analyzed how higher education institutions use social media in general, however, this study specifically analyzes social media in the context of serving students during a period in which in-person contact was limited by the Covid-19 pandemic. The study proposes a novel way in which social media can be utilized to engage and validate Latinx students.
