Session Type: Symposium
The session presents a transnational and transdisciplinary study about systemic and emergent post-pandemic inequities that affect the education of immigrants around the world, building a complex vision of how these inequities intersect with race, gender, ethnicity, social class and legal status. Through the lens of dynamic-narrative theory, the papers that make up this session explore how different educational contexts in five countries confront the impact of the pandemic, detecting promising directions to foster resilience and identifying best policies and practices to ameliorate inequity and fight racism. Participants will be invited to engage in a lively and dynamic symposium based on introductory talks followed by open discussion.
