Session Type: Symposium

Abstract

Self-regulated learning (SRL) incorporates several key elements of the learning process and has thus become one of the essential abilities for lifelong learning. Due to COVID-19, the educational sector has had to find possibilities to enhance the students’ SRL skills in digital learning formats. Therefore, the symposium incorporates several interrelated approaches on SRL in differential learning formats: Improving self-regulation through online time management intervention (first talk), students’ performance in a high structure course design (second talk), Conversational Agents skills and SRL in modern learning environments (third talk) and the enhancement of SRL in digital and non-digital learning formats (fourth talk). A discussant will bring the different perspectives together and critically debate all contributions.
