Session Type: Symposium
This symposium highlights diverse perspectives for addressing educators’ need for support in managing increasing occupational stress. Using varied methodologies, the papers in this symposium highlight that social-emotional competencies in educators can and should be bolstered to improve well-being and professional efficacy. For these processes to be equitable, skills for recognizing and disrupting sources of inequity, like racism and other forms of oppression, will be essential. Attendees of this symposium will be invited to co-interrogate the research processes in a question and answer panel session with the session presenters.
