Four research teams from different countries will present their work on innovative technology-enhanced dialogic instruction. Two presentations focus on students as learners and their collective efficacy, social perspective taking, dialogue moves, and on-task engagement. Two presentations focus on teachers as learners and how they learn to orchestrate productive discussions. Each group unpack the dialogic properties under the designed environment to demonstrate how these properties are shaped, augmented, exploited by technologies. Each group will also demonstrate the technology developed by the group to enhance interactivity with the audience. An expert in dialogic instruction will provide constructive criticism and raise conceptual, methodological, and practical issues for broader consideration. These presentations are expected to inform effective practices for incorporating technologies in learning environments.
