Session Type: Symposium
This session focuses on how education research can be leveraged to prepare K-12 computer science teachers to implement equitable and inclusive computing courses. Through diverse data sets and settings including teachers, teacher preparation faculty, and students, presentations will identify problems faced by K-12 teachers, and present research findings on successful solutions to those problems. The goals are to support CS education research in pursuing consequential agendas that address the truth of K-12 CS student and teacher lived experiences.
