Session Type: Symposium
The educational experiences of Southeast Asian American (SEAA) students are not well-understood, especially along the educational pipeline. The purpose of this session is to share a collective and cohesive portrait of the institutional contexts that facilitate or prohibit Southeast Asian American student outcomes across the P-16+ pathway. More specifically, the following group of papers allow for the identification of convergent and divergent experiences across different institutional contexts, including P-12, community college, community organization, and minority-serving institution settings. The scholars engaged in this work are SEAA-identifying faculty, staff, and graduate students committed to contributing culturally-informed knowledge about SEAA educational experiences.
