Session Type: Symposium
In this symposium, presenters will focus on topics related to Queer & Trans* Latinx/a/o students specifically, Queering HSIs, integrating Queer & Trans* perspectives into social welfare organizations, Latinx/o men and masculinities, and Trans* of Color critique. Scholars hope to be in community with others to envision futures for Queer & Trans* Latinx/a/o students in different educational landscapes. The presenters hope to shed light on the ways that theoretical frameworks, methodologies, and epistemological orientations can better center the experiences of Latinx/a/o communities in educational research.
