Critical Educational Change: Culturally Responsive Leadership and Research Trends in the Borderland Context and Beyond

Abstract

In this symposium session, authors will present their work on creating more equitable educational change in their respective contexts within the borderland regions of Mexico and the United States. Cultural humility and culturally responsive teaching and leadership are central themes and missions of the authors in this session. The session wraps up with a trend analysis of the educational change special interest group’s movements in the areas of reform, social justice, and educational reform.
