Black and Brown youth possess invaluable insights into the inner-workings of oppressive systems and have developed sophisticated theories about how to survive and dismantle these systems, due to the fact that their experiences emerge within and across the intricate nexus of overlapping systems of oppression. As some of the most technologically savvy and digitally connected groups to date, Youth of Color boast unprecedented expertise on the promise and possibility of using technology, specifically video gaming, to produce transformational educational change. Across the four papers, we offer insights into the pedagogies, processes, and world-making that occurs within the context of the Learning to Transform (LiTT) Video Gaming Lab.
