Abstract
One set of papers in this session examine the experiences and identities of Black female educators and Black immigrant girls to broaden notions of Blackness in mathematics education. A second set of papers explores the ideologies that teachers' participate in around mathematics and ways to prepare them to be more culturally and racially aware.
