Session Type: Business Meeting

Abstract

This session will include a discussion of SEM SIG business and the SEM SIG Service Award will be presented.

This session will feature an invited talk by Dr. Walter Leite. Dr. Leite's talk is titled: Sensitivity Analysis in Structural Equation Modeling: New Methods and Research Opportunities

Abstract:
Sensitivity analysis methods are important tools to probe the boundaries of the conclusions of a research study, and there has been a surge of interest in them. A few sensitivity analysis methods for structural equation modeling (SEM) have been developed recently based on using phantom variables to represent a potential omitted confounder. The objective of this talk is to provide an overview of these methods and highlight areas for future research.
