Session Type: Virtual Symposium
This session highlights multiracial scholar activists, teacher educators, youths whose research and practice focuses on centering the racial injustice of Asian American histories and narratives in K-12 education. This session serves as an example of critical research and practices that illuminates students’ experiences in a school setting that privileges their experiential knowledge and centers the racial injustice of Asian American history and narratives in an academic space that they co-created and co-interpreted.
