Abstract

Researchers in professions education must be prepared to navigate issues around the boundaries of speech and community norms in their academic and professional communities. This panel discussion will highlight relevant issues and perspectives around the boundaries of speech and its relationship to inclusion and equity in learning environments. The panelists will draw connections between policy and politics, institutional responsibilities, and learner experiences and interactions. Graduate students and junior scholars will hear from a diverse group of panelists who will share about their body of work in this field.
