Graduate Student Council Division E Fireside Chat: Demystifying Grant Writing and Grant Applications

Abstract

Identifying research funding sources and navigating grant applications can be an overwhelming process. Division E’s fireside chat will feature panelists who have been successful at obtaining grant funding as graduate students and/or as early career professionals. These panelists will offer strategies they have utilized to increase the likelihood of writing a successful grant application, and will be able to answer questions about navigating the grant application process. Attendees will walk away with specific ideas to support their own search for funding and grant writing process.
