Abstract

This roundtable session explores methodological issues in diverse types of data collection and analysis. Two of the paper investigate issues around the collection of data in educational settings: 1) methodological issues inherent in using web-based online questionnaires and 2) compares the use of students with child actors when gathering data from teachers in classrooms. The final paper pr provide a procedure for maximizing coefficient α and minimizing its standard error among all possible subsets of items in a survey.
