Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This Division K Vice Presidential Session offers powerful insights into curriculum and pedagogy that are critical, humanizing, and community responsive. Challenging anti-Black and anti-Asian ingrained, status-quo power structures, participants dream out loud, offering insights for teachers and teacher educators to explore potent ways to uncover hidden, marginalized, and rather unknown histories of Black and AAPI communities. Together, they invite attendees to consider pathways for revisioning what constitutes truth in P-20 curriculum and teaching.
