Indigenous and Black Refusal Strategies of Student Development Theory

Abstract

The session would focus on a refusal (Simson, 2007) and theorizing a new wave of student development theory informed by Indigenous ways of knowing, doing and being, and Black studies, which push us to humanize students and their development.
