Abstract

Large language models such as ChatGPT are at the fingertips of educators and students. In this invited panel session, experts from diverse educational areas come together to discuss both the opportunities and potential pitfalls of using generative AI in assessment and learning; how these AI models may change how we teach, learn, and assess learning in education; the pros and cons of using them in teaching and learning; what new skills we may need to teach and learn; and how to measure these skills beyond what ChatGPT does.
