In Roundtable Session: Layers of Leadership (Table 29)
One of the most complex issues and challenges within higher education, is the mastery of effective accountability practices of those with positional power. In order to better understand and reconcile root issues, it is imperative to add volume to the voices of marginalized professionals whose insight and power are historically missed and diminished. Black Women in mid-level leadership positions are underutilized for cultivating change in leadership accountability. Reflections of an original pilot study and research will be discussed and analyzed for implications on future leadership accountability practices.
