This study documents the impact of workshop interventions on post-pandemic recovery of individuals in the education sector. Through surveys and interviews, data were collected relating to five relevant variables: resilience, connectedness, organizational commitment, recovery, and well-being. Findings indicate individuals perceived short-term improvements in recovery and well-being. Participants appreciated the open and authentic dialogue in the workshops and school leaders valued the development of alternative strategies to assist in enhancing educator support, which resulted long-term effects on connectedness when compared to a control group. There was no significant change in organizational commitment in the workshop group, signalling the need for further study relating to external factors or additional recovery time.
