Abstract

While the impact of COVID-19 has changed the ways admissions offices conduct their practices, there is hardly any literature on how these policies impact Black applicants. This qualitative study explores the effects of test-optional admissions policies on Black high school students (BHSS) when pursuing four-year institutions.
