The purpose of this study is to understand the opinions shared publicly online during a curriculum reform process. To this end, this study analysed texts from online news articles and a public hearing. Automated text analysis was used for observation of voices. Results showed that the voices made visible are selective rather than comprehensive and there is a strong presence of economic reasoning over educational reasoning. These factors could potentially contribute to neglecting teachers’ professional judgments and insights.
